Extra Curricular Activities
We have high expectations of all our students, constantly challenging them to fulfil and to exceed their own potential academically. However, we also believe strongly that education is about much more besides academic studies. We are passionate about developing the whole person.
We offer an extensive choice of clubs and societies after school and at lunchtime to suit almost every conceivable interest and intended to enrich students' experience beyond the curriculum.

In addition we have a thriving Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and an active Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, offering physical and mental challenges. Each year students undertake a variety of expeditions, camps and exercises in locations near and far.
We also enjoy field trips to a diverse range of locations, from the Lake District to France, outward bound expeditions and sporting tours overseas. Recent tours have included South America, South Africa, Malta, New Zealand, Barbados and Australia - as well as regular exchanges to France, Germany and Poland.
