AGSS Summer Ball

Summer Ball 2010 - Saturday 26th June

This year - as always - our annual Summer Ball was a huge success. It was a magnificent event on a perfect summer's night, attended by 424 guests (tickets sold out within half an hour of them going on sale in April). Guests were entertained by chamber music on arrival provided by Adams' pupil Leonie Minty and friends. The marquee in the grounds of the splendid Longford Hall, home to Adams' junior boarders, looked resplendent with a black and white theme. After an excellent dinner (provided by Jenkinsons Caterers) guests danced until the small hours to fabulous local band, 'Airbag.' There was also a fun casino (for those who needed a rest from dancing and a chance to have a chat away from the music!), a raffle and a mini auction.

Proceeds from the event, including the generous sponsors who supported us, look likely to be finalised in the region of £9,000, a fantastic amount which will be used to benefit pupils in the school.
