During the final exeat weekend of the summer term we welcomed back a number of Old Novaportans to help us say a final farewell to the three senior boarding houses.
Former pupils who arrived in the 1960s through to those who left very recently returned to take a trip down memory lane and regale us with stories of their hi-jinks and misdemeanours – of which there were plenty! Returning Old Novaportans were also pleased to re-acquaint themselves with staff members including Rob Mulhern, Senior Boarding Master for many years, former Deputy Headmaster Mark Warren-Smith and Matron Christine Peters.
Numerous pictures from across the years were on display for the visitors to enjoy and to try and find themselves and their compatriots.
Work on senior boarding’s new home at Beaumaris Hall is continuing at a brisk pace, next weeks sees the arrival of the en-suite facility ‘pods’ which each room will include, something our former boarders could only have dreamt about! We hope to have pictures to share soon.
