Judged outstanding by Ofsted, Adams' Grammar School is a selective state grammar school with academy status for day pupils and boarders. Located in the market town of Newport, Shropshire, we welcome boys aged 11-18 as day pupils or boarders and girls aged 16-18 as day girls in our sixth form.
Founded in 1656 by local benefactor and Haberdasher William Adams, the school has a history of success and offers a vibrant, exciting place in which pupils can develop as confident, articulate young men and women who are interesting, balanced and independent people who care for each other.
